I'm a little behind on my blogging, so let me catch you up on what's been going on around here.
Christmas was a blast. The kids got way too much and we all overindulged in Christmas goodies. Some favorite gifts were Cameron's ball popper and Mackenzie's Barbie Dream House. For me it was new perfume and for Jason a new router/table combo.
New Year's was uneventful, with Jason and I going out for a nice dinner with Christie and Mike, heading over to Sommer and Joe's new house, and then on to Mike and Ann Marie's for our annual New Year's countdown. After midnight, while the guys were playing poker, us girls played a new game, True Colors, which was a lot of fun - highly recommended for a girls night!
As for new kiddo news, I've got a few things... Cameron had his fifteen month check up and is doing great. He's now in the 10-25th percentile for height/weight - he's just a little thing! He's now walking like a champ - went straight from crawling to running. We get comments all the time on how cute he is, and what is he, almost a year? Really, he's that tiny. He thinks his sister is hilarious and while he doesn't really have any words yet, he imitates everything she says by making noises that sort of sound like words. Cameron also likes to copy our movements and is becoming quite the dancer.
Mackenzie starts a ballet class this week and is going to be in the recital - how freakin' cute is that going to be???? I can't wait! She spends lots of time with her friends and has not heard the teacher call her name to leave the class on occasion because she's socializing. While her Aunt Aimee was here over the holiday vacation, Mackenzie was glued to her side. The two of them had a lunch date and went to a bowling party together, with Mackenzie making instant friends with the girls she hasn't seen since last year. I guess being four is all about being social. I think 2008 is going to be Mackenzie's year!
