Visiting With Santa

This year Mackenzie was all about Santa and telling him what she wants (Barbies, Bratz - banned in our house because I think they're 'hoochie mamas', Polly Pocket, and My Little Pony). She got to see him twice, once at a dinner with Santa (and Mrs. Claus! She thought that was pretty cool) and then we went to Lakeside to see him there. Cameron, not so much. He was having a melt down at the school dinner before we even got in line to see santa, so Jason had to take him home, and when we handed him over at Lakeside, well, the picture speaks for itself. He's got major stranger anxiety going on right now - we went to a church program the other night and whenever someone would even look at him he'd reach for whatever parent wasn't holding him to get as far away as possible.
I am happy to report, though, that Cam is walking (sort of) and is so super proud of himself. We've been really practicing and he thinks it's great fun - even the falling down part. He is 15 months old, so it's about time! Although I forgot about the catching-your-breath-a-million-times-a-day part of walking that moms get to experience every time your baby falls within inches of hitting their head on the corner of something.
(The last picture is just a cute one of Cam eating some spaghetti.)
