Mackenzie had a whole week of birthday celebrations! What a lucky girl. The Saturday before her birthday Granita and Grandpa Bill took her to Build A Bear - she loved it and came home with Princess Glitter Sparkle, a pink fuzzy bear wearing Hello Kitty undies and a pink outfit complete with ear bows and pink shoes. On her actual birthday, Wednesday, she had donuts for breakfast, Taco Bell for lunch, cookies at school, and Chuck E Cheese for dinner. Not to mention receiving Baby Alive from Mommy and Daddy. Whew! Thursday, Thanksgiving, we were out at Grandma Joy and Grandpa Randy's for presents, chocolate pie, and a sleepover. Oh, and a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Saturday morning there was friend party in the morning with Shannon and Lexi. They made their own pizzas, stuffed teddy bears, ate cake and ice cream and played, played, played. Both girls have become Mackenzie's best friends and live right by us, too! Yea for friends in the neighborhood :) Anyway, the girls had a great time and I have to admit I was a little pooped by the time they left. So fast forward two hours to my whole family coming over for a yummy feast and more gifts and more cake and ice cream! We were a little crowded, but everyone had a great time visiting. Mackenzie especially had fun visiting with Erica, my cousin's daughter who will be 14 soon. Mackenzie just adores her - it's pretty cute. All in all it was a great week of celebrating. I always really reflect when Mackenzie has a birthday - this year I was thinking about how four years ago it was sunny and warm and a few days after she was born we were hanging out by the pool with our Thanksgiving dinner. Those were the days... On a more positive note Mackenzie is convinced she's grown about 6in. since she's now four. The funny thing is that she actually has grown an inch or so in the past few weeks. Ok, well it was funny to me :) She's really such a sweetie, though. So gracious at all of her parties, so polite to all of her guests, so full of cake and other goodies that I think she may turn into a big blob of sugar if I don't get a vegetable into her sometime soon! It's crazy, but every day I enjoy being her mom more and more (well, most days! She still has her moments...).

How fun! It gave me a stomach ache just reading about all the food combos - but how perfect for a little girl! You guys are such cool parents!
