The garden is doing great. Here's what's been happening:
- We've harvested all of the radishes (not sure what I'll plant in those squares next, but I think I'll probably replant something for fall harvest).
- The corn and potatoes look great - that box isn't too exciting, though, so I'll share those pics in another week or so.
- I purchased a large container of ladybugs from the Royal Oak Farmer's Market last weekend and they've been having a feast on whatever it is that's been having a feast on my lettuce and spinach. Fact I learned: ladybugs are carnivores. :)
- The carrots are looking really full and pretty - hopefully we'll have a nice 'carnival mix' of colors, as the package stated, when they're ready to be picked.
- I have an order of straw and chicken poop on order from a teacher at the kids' school (glamorous life I lead, huh?). It should be good for the compost pile, which is also cooking up nicely.

That pic with the ladybugs is awesome! Maybe I SHOULD buy Mike one of those expensive cameras he wants...
