So, today is the last summer day for us over here at the Beem household. And the beginning of the rest of our lives (a little cliche, but it seems to fit). My baby starts kindergarten tomorrow. I have been heartbroken for quite sometime now, but TOMORROW?!?!? How did this day arrive so quickly? I'm totally not prepared. I was ok all day today (we were fairly busy), but once we got home - that's another story. I've been holding back tears all day. Jason thinks I'm being silly and overreacting (which I may be a little, but isn't that just a typical 'guy' response?). I think I'm totally justified in my sadness - this sweet innocent baby whom I've spent close to 5 years with, all day, everyday, is going out into the big scary world all alone. Wish me luck!
Oh, and for those of you who I didn't tell, we got into our schools of choice school right down the street! There are a few friends from preschool in Mackenzie's class (some are in the other class), but YEA! We were very relieved when we got that phone call.
