Mackenzie started Vacation Bible School on Monday and she loves it! They do crafts, coloring, recess (or a Veggie Tales movie on rainy days), a brief sermon where the pastor is on quest for truth - the theme of the week and Mackenzie thinks it's so funny that he can't find it when she knows it's Jesus (they must have talked about it before) - singing, and of course, snack. Every day on the ride home she wonders what snack is going to be the next day :) It's much more engaging than her 'art' class she was in last week - very boring and nothing that we don't do at home. I guess when you have people commited to teaching a specific message it shows.
It also gives me some alone time with my still teething little one. Cameron is miserable and doesn't want to eat anything besides his (cold) bottle. He also doesn't want to sleep very much which is tiring us all out. But, the second set of teeth are almost through - a light at the end of the tunnel? Or just a bridge leading to the tunnel? He does still have the rest of his mouth to fill, including molars... I finally got some homeopathic teething tablets, so we'll see how they work tomorrow.
