Beem Picnic 2007

Well, another Beem Family Picnic has come and gone and in our world that's the signal that summer is quickly going to turn into fall.

Mackenzie had lots of fun this year; she got pegged in the head with an egg (thanks, Lucas!) and she and I got Jason really wet with a water balloon. Those little hips were shaking while practicing hula hooping and her gum may have ended up on the ground more than once while trying to form a bubble.

She loved playing with Aunt Aimee (and was so sad when Aimee had to leave today :( and also with Aimee's friend Ellie. Ellie brought her fiance, Dave, to the picnic this year - another honorary Beem! Maybe he'll make the blog photo cut next year, since Ellie made it this year (that's her with the kids on the blanket).

Cameron didn't have quite so much fun, as he's getting TWO MORE TEETH! This poor kid has been miserable for the past three days. He hasn't wanted much more than a bottle, and forget about sleeping. Alicia, Jason's stepsister, did manage to get him to fall asleep (a seasoned mother's touch!), and when he was out, he was OUT! Thank you, Alicia!!!

All in all, we had a great time and it was nice to see so many relatives. There were some that couldn't make it, and they were missed, but hopefully with my 100+ photos, and all of the other ones that were taken, they'll feel like they were right there with us.
