The Second Trimester

The second trimester is here! I can't believe it's already 1/3 of the way over. Something that seems like it'll take forever really goes by so quickly. But, I guess that's true with anything that is important.

However, I have to remember that the hardest part is still to come; the morning sickness is nothing compared to the sleepless nights, heartburn, swelling, and sciatica. But, I wouldn't trade all the discomforts for anything in the world since I know that in the end I'll have a new baby! Plus, I have to admit that I really enjoyed being pregnant the first time, and so far this one's no different. I guess it's hard to tell, though, with all the complaining I've been doing! Maybe all the complaining is just because I'm just much more hormonal this time - example: I started crying watching Dumbo today.

I have to say the worst part about the first trimester was the worrying and waiting. I'm so glad that everything has gone so well. I was feeling very jinxed about telling everyone so soon after finding out, but it worked out for the best. Let's see where the second trimester takes us...
