Mackenzie won the Citizen of the Month award today! We were so proud - Jason and I were called last week to make sure we could attend the school-wide assembly, but she didn't know she was getting it til she heard her name called. It was very sweet to see her win this, and a nice beginning to the rest of the school year. She's very helpful in the classroom and just about always on her best behavior (except when she's sneaking popcorn out of her backpack!), so I'm sure she really deserved this.
