Update on Mackenzie: She loves school. She loves Jazz class (which, by the way, is soooo freakin' cute!), and she loves piano. Every time we're getting ready for any of them, she reminds me of how much she hates whatever it is and how she's never going again (this doesn't happen too often with school, though). Then she comes out smiling ear to ear and saying that she can't wait to go back again. It is so tough being a 4-and-a-half year old!
I volunteer in her classroom once a week and she is having a bit of a hard time when I have to go, but that's about it. Not only is all of that coming around, but she is just learning so much! She's so excited to learn to read (the foundation is there - she needed a little motivation) and we (Jason, Cameron and I) have to get jazz and piano lessons from her quite often. I still miss my time with her, but she's having such a blast - how could I argue with that?
