The Terribly Terrific Twos!

Cameron is Two!
He had his two year old check up the other day and he's still just a little guy in relation to other two year old boys - he's in the 25th percentile. He's 26lbs and 32 inches. Christie and Mike have a niece who is one with the same stats! (Although her dad was a basketball player at MSU...) The only downside to him being so small is that he's starting to outgrow his pants length-wise, but the waists are too big! Now I know how to hem a pair of pants (I've had to do quite a few with Mackenzie), but taking in a waist??? I guess we're going to have to start wearing more sweatpants or I'm going to have to learn how to sew!
We started the birthday morning by first attending school. Daddy and Mackenzie (Nee nee) got to come with us, and Cam was sooo proud to show off his school and his teacher. He did great. Today was the end of his testing for the beginning of the school year, and his speech is now testing at 21 months! Just a little more catching up to go... He's now speaking over 20 words in addition to his signs and we are so impressed with him everyday.

After school we went to the Cider Mill. It was a beautiful day - we picked raspberries and apples and enjoyed cider - Cameron loved it! - and donuts - he could have cared less about those. He got a few gifts, but the rest come on birthday party day. A favorite was Click the Camera from the show Diego. He also liked the Chicago Cubs bobble head from Uncle John and the coins from the pirate dress up set Mackenzie got him (he put them right into his unopenable bank!). I think he's really going to have a great day on Saturday for his party!
