Another mostly photo post (don't you love it???)

Awww - they love each other and are really starting to be able to play together.

We met up with a friend of mine that I've known since elementary school, Holly, and her son Nathan. It was really nice to reconnect and to find another mommy in the area - turns out they're only a few miles away. Thanks for finding me, Holly!

Papa's birthday - Jason and I found this gem of a Happy Birthday sign at a garage sale for $5. You never know what you might find 'treasure' hunting! And for those of you who don't know my dad, he watches a lot of cartoons. Probably more than the kids do. Even when they aren't there. Spongebob is one of his favorites - he and Mackenzie discuss episodes over the phone from time to time.

"Mom, it's too hot for pictures! Can we go inside and drink Kool-aid???" They are now Kool-aid addicts and suck that stuff down like they haven't drank in weeks. It's now on the list of 'in limited quantities' items, just like chocolate chip granola bars and golden oreos.
