DISNEY POST #2 and a little venting

Yea! More Disney photos! I know, there's a lot, but I think they're all worth putting on here. Don't mind my spelling on the captions - it's late and I've been working on these for awhile tonight...

So our trip was great. Grandma Joy decided to surprise us and met us down there, so it really was a girl's trip! The weather could have been a teeny bit warmer (see the photo where Mackenzie looks frozen? She was - that's a beach towel that I bought that night to cover her up with!), but all in all we had a lot of fun. Rainforest Cafe for dinner the first night, Epcot and the Magic Kingdom the next day - where we stayed til midnight!!!, and Hollywood Studios (aka MGM) the last day.

Mackenzie rode all the rides (that were preschool appropriate) and we could hardly get her off of them! She met three characters and would have liked to have met more but Mommy didn't really want to stand in line any longer - it takes an hour to see any of them! But, one of those was her idol Ariel and she was so geeked to meet her. Super cute. At Hollywood Studios we saw just about every show that was playing. Mackenzie LOVED the 3-D shows once I convinced her to put the goofy glasses on. I have to admit, I also love the 3-D shows :) We saw every parade at both parks, including fireworks at the Magic Kingdom where Tinkerbell flies overhead (another crowd pleaser). Mackenzie even got to be a part of the High School Musical 2 street show and play the drums with them. They asked her to come up and dance, too, but she wasn't having any of that. Our flight home at 6:45am wasn't too bad - and we came back with quite a few souvenirs. Can't wait to do it again next year!

Oh, I do have a complaint - you no longer get a beverage on Spirit Airlines! They serve nothing on their flights! They only offer things you have to pay for, and even then they only take credit cards - no cash. And, you have to pay to check your bags!!! Not just bags over the limit, ANY bags! Is that ridiculous?!?! I just had to vent b/c I think that is so crazy. And for you moms traveling with infants on your lap (children under 2) - that also is no longer free starting in May. Not that any of this is a huge amount, but it's the point that when you buy a ticket that's fairly expensive you should at least be able to bring your clothes with you free of charge! Ugh.
