Day to Day

We went to the mall to visit with the bunny. Not only were the kids not scared of him, they were both petting and hugging him and I had to make them leave! What a difference a year makes.

Now, here's a glimpse into my day to day:

I go to do a load of laundry the other day, and there's a little water on the floor. I go to do another load, and the entire laundry room is flooded. The pipe has backed up. Again. So, the plumber comes out this morning (8am) and snakes all the tree roots out of it and recommends we get the pipe replaced. ugh.

Mackenzie and I decorate Easter Eggs, everyone gets ready for the day, we have an early lunch, and then off in pursuit of Easter outfits (nothing like the last minute, huh?). We also need rain boots and undergarments for hubby. The road is closed so we have to take the long way to the store that's 5 minutes from the house. We pull into the parking lot and Cameron is sleeping and Mackenzie suddenly has a terrible tummy ache and needs to go to the bathroom. Back to home base with no fancy clothes for this Sunday. There's a doctor appointment scheduled for this afternoon and then I have plans tonight. I guess we'll try it again another day, and try to fit it in among all of the other little things that life throws our way. Scheduling mom duties can be hard work somtimes!
