I've been falling behind on my posts. I was aiming for one a week, but that just isn't happening lately. Not that this is any kind of excuse, but the kids have been sick for what seems like FOREVER so when I go on here, it's either to 'socialize' or to look up some sort of symptom. And when I'm not on here, I'm at the doctor's office (they say "Hi Mrs. Beem!" when we come in now), cleaning up some type of bodily fluid, filling a humidifier, or at the drug store filling a prescription or getting a new box of tissue. Not to mention santizing every hard surface or toy I come across, and bleaching all of the laundry. Ah, the joys of motherhood...
On a positive note, Mackenzie and I are taking a girls-only trip to Orlando next week for some R & R. Jason's been out of town a lot this winter so it's my turn! I need a little vacation in the sun to recharge my battery. We're going to hang out by the pool in the morning (whether it's warm enough to swim or not) and head to Disney in the afternoons. Mackenzie's soooo excited to meet the princesses - she started packing her Ariel bag on Monday. And she's been modeling her summer ware all week for us. I'm looking forward to spending some long days out in the sun and to seeing Mackenzie really experience and appreciate Disney. Last trip she was just a little too young. There were too many things that were overwhelming and scary to her for her to have as good of a time as I think she's going to have this year.
I'm not looking forward to navigating the airport with a four year old and carry-ons (I have a hard enough time on my own!), but it'll be nice to spend some one on one time with my little princess :) We'll be thinking of you while we're in the Florida sunshine!!!

Have fun in the Sun! I'll be thinking of you guys with Mickey and laying by the pool. What a nice mother and daughter trip - you both deserve it! xoox- slr
Sounds like tons of fun! Hope those boys don't trash the house when you're gone! :)
