Cameron is one month old today! He is just the cutest thing ever, even with his terrible case of baby acne and his balding (I got him a onesie that says, "Bald is Beautiful" - I can't wait to put him in it!)
Believe it or not, today was the first day I ventured out with him and Mackenzie on my own. It was pouring rain, and that baby carrier is much heavier than I remembered (especially when you're carrying a diaper bag, a Dora backpack, and holding a hand), but we made it! And, we've made it past the first month! I just keep telling myself that things will get easier, and every day they do.
Last night Cameron slept from about 10:30pm til 5:30 am! Yea! Of course it was Jason's night to get up with him, and my turn with Mackenzie, who I don't think slept that long. Oh well. Then this morning, when we were trying to get ready and get out the door for preschool, he started smiling! He's been giving out little smiles here and there for about two weeks now, but today was the one I'm counting as his first official smiley day. He started smiling at me while he was in his bouncy seat, and then Mackenzie started singing to him and I swear if he could laugh he would have, that's how big his grin was. And then he just thought everything she and I did was amusing. Needless to say we were a little late getting to preschool due to entertaining Cameron and the rain. But, it all worked out and they're now both napping. Ahhhhh....
Oh, and Cameron attended his first wedding last weekend. That's the picture you see - Cameron with the bride, Sommer. What a little man :)

I can't believe that he's already a month old...and I haven't seen the little guy yet!!! I just love to read all of your Mackenzie stories and how she is relating to her new bro. I cannot even imagine balancing the both - I thought one was tough enough!
Also, what great news on the long sleep...at only one month old! I think you guys may have a good sleeper!
