nothing's happening

I'm feeling a little bummed. I went to my appointment and nothing has changed. The baby is a little further down, but everything else is the same. The doctor did strip my membranes, but I don't think it did anything - I'm not even having braxton hicks contractions today :( And, the doctor pointed something out that I guess I didn't think of - if I were to get induced my chances of having a c-section greatly increase, and I don't want a c-section if I can help it, especially not if I brought it on myself just because of my impatience or my feeling uncomfortable/in pain at the end of my pregnancy. I guess I'll just wait it out. The doctor said that if I've made progress at my next appointment she'll strip my membranes again to see if it'll start something then. Before my appointment yesterday I wasn't sure if I was ready for labor, but I guess I was putting more into that one little procedure than I realized. Well, another week to go (again).
