The Little Things

Jason made a comment the other day that he loved how Mackenzie was like me and could get so excited about 'the little things.' I didn't realize how true that was about the two of us until our trip to Nino Salvaggio's today. We had a great time - and we were both so excited to come home and eat our fruit salad! Me, because I love pineapple, and her because she loves the song "Fruit Salad" by the Wiggles. We love walking barefoot on the new carpet. We love having company over for dinner. We love cuddle time on the couch after naps (and I love naps!). We love being lovey and we love being a family, and I can't wait until she knows about this new baby. Now granted, it will be a big thing, but I just know that she's going to be as overjoyed as I am to be adding a new member to our family - and hopefully the new baby will love dancing in the living room before dinner with daddy just as much as we do :)
